In Agriculture 2020, 16 items of planning were announced.
In November last year, III. The Agriculture and Forestry Council was held at the ATO Congresium. The results of this council were announced by the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli. After this statement, the Agricultural Forest Council Action Plan was announced.
Özer Matlı, chairman of the board of Bursa Commodity Exchange and member of the board of directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, said, "Agricultural production and supply assurance, food safety, rural development and marketing, fisheries and aquaculture, soil and water resources," regarding the Agriculture Forest Council Action Plan. Stating that the future of agriculture is gathered under 8 different main headings related to the issues of “biodiversity, climate change, forest and institutional capacity”, he conveyed the following;
“III. The 60 actions that stood out in the Agriculture and Forestry Council were gathered under 38 titles with the meticulous work of our Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. It is aimed to implement 333 sub-actions related to these in a planned manner. With the 5-year planning made in the Agriculture Forest Council Action Plan, it is expected to shed light on the 25th year of our country's agriculture.
In particular, the right steps to be taken in terms of branding in agricultural products, local and national seeds, licensed warehousing, sustainability in family businesses, and national water plan, which are included in the action plan, will carry the country's agriculture to a much better point than it is today.

Establishment of Breeding Heifer Production Centers,
Encouraging International Projects,
Benefiting from International Projects and Agricultural Trade,
Promotion of Production in Foreign Countries,
Development of Public-Private Sector and University Cooperation,
Effective Use of Meteorological Information,
Water Use and Water Conservation and National Water Plan,
Increasing the Production of Fibrous Plants for Industrial Purposes,
Redefining Neighborhoods as Rural and Urban in Metropolitan Municipalities.
